back to handicapping after yearly post Breeders Cup break..........lookin to share some thoughts on a pick or two here over the weeks leading into Spring 3rd AQU. sensibly chic this one looks to be coming around 2nd off the layoff for for a trainer who has hit the board w/ half his starters this meet...............lightly raced 4yo won at first asking as a 2yo then was stopped on....blew thru first level allow. conditions by 6 1/2 lenghths in second start aftr 4 1/2 month layoff..............was thought highly enough of by connections to be entered in the GR1 Prioress in July , and was understandably outrun by the likes of House Party and Chimichurri........given an 8 month break after an excellent 3yo campaign and came back w/ a nice run to be second in this condition in Jan...........shld be tighter for that effort and gets a great pace scenario today....... add to that, the fact that she MAY be 7-2 or 3-1 and you have a solid shot at cashin a decent ticket............. 7th AQU snorzalot this one is coming up to a third off the layoff race in great form, has been right there at this condition in last two over the inner, another who looks to benifet from a great pace scenario and almost always is a price ........ 8th AQUhornshope a lightly raced 3YO, he looks to have tremendous upside in just his 7th lifetime race,............has been competitive in all his starts and shows a bullet work of 4f :48B for this.........shld also be a square price w/ apprentice Perez aboard today GL

sorry for the disjointed post.....sensibly chic was a good third, can be bet right back at thi level at better odds next time.................snorzalot was much the best and coulda gone around again and they wouldnt of caught him.......................hornshope had a nightmare trip and was an easty second, also can be bet with confidence next try at this level
Hornshope got a ride that could be likened to a mass murder Bro.
He held back to the 3/4 then he attempted to dodge traffic .....he was pulled up THREE friggin times - once where he nearly REARED BACK and then took the outside and steamed past the pack. Had he been given a good ride he was comfortably first.
SO I kiss away $25 on him and carve his name in my forehead. Good pick.
